Facts At A Glance
Project Location:
The concrete plant would be sited off of Pontiac Avenue, on Marine Dr., adjacent to the CLCF sports park. This project is located in a flood plain, in a designated wetlands and two rivers: the Pocasset and the Pawtuxet.
The Pocasset is all that separates the concrete plant from the adjacent CLCF sports field, where children play and practice sports every day. The river itself feeds into the Pawtuxet, which also borders the Cullion facility and continues out to the Narragansett Bay.
Project borders Eden Park & Garden City neighborhoods
Download our flyer that shows just how close the plant is to places where children and families congregate.
Get Google Earth to determine precisely how close your home is to the plant site.

This Project Will:
- Lower property values (even though your taxes increased!!!)
- Hurt local businesses
- Create more noise and traffic congestion on Pontiac Avenue and abutting streets
- Put your family’s health and safety at risk
- Cause environmental damage…
- Increase air & noise pollution
- Put the Pawtuxet & Pocasset Rivers at risk
- Threaten wildlife that has been found migrating into our neighborhoods: deer, fox, coyote, wild turkeys and smaller animals.
